Cycleway Improvements
SUSTRANS Route 7 extension from Balquhidder to Killin opened July 2000
As part of the National Cycle Network the routes around Callander are constantly earmarked for upgrading and extension.
The Aberfoyle route has been recently repaired close to the western end of Loch Venacher and is now in fine condition. (The Forestry Commission will be working in Achray forest this year, so sections of the forest may be closed for safety reasons from time to time throughout spring/summer 2007).
Route 7 has also now been much improved South of Aberfoyle, providing a safe route to Gartmore and Drymen.
